Previewing our Shavuot Sensation teaching, Liturgist Alden Solovy will read from his new book, These Words: Poetic Midrash on the Language of Torah.  As we explore the Torah learning behind several of his new poems, Alden will share an inside view of the process and the purpose of creating new Jewish poetry.

We have been incorporating Alden Solovy’s poetry in our Shabbat Evening Worship over the past year. In April, Alden will join us virtually from his home in Israel. In May, Alden will join us in person!
