Wolves, foxes and bears – oh my!

Take a walk on the wild side at Red Wolf Sanctuary with fellow Empty Nesters. Several rescued wildlife animals can be observed in the sanctuary including wolves, foxes, bears, coyotes, bobcats and elk.

The hike is 2 miles total on a mixture of a dirt path and gravel walkway and considered to be a moderately challenging nature trail. It is approximately 2 hours and will be guided by a wildlife expert. Red Wolf Sanctuary is a 56 minute drive/45 miles away from Wise Center. It is located 1 mile from Rising Star Casino where there are shops and dining spots nearby in Rising Sun.
