First Grade Family Education Program

Together with a parent, students will learn about Havdallah, the short ceremony that separates Shabbat from the rest of the week. This sacred ceremony can be performed on Saturday night once three stars are visible in the sky all the way through Tuesday of each week.

Come to Wise Center to learn about this sacred ceremony and paint a piece of your very own Havdallah set with Star Glazers Pottery. This program will meet in person outdoors in a socially distant manner. Masks and registration are required. In the event of rain, students will meet virtually at their regular scheduled class time. We will also be collecting book donations for Adopt a Book Ohio in honor of National Book Month.
